OH lord he REALLY must love me.
Ok confession time. My car is and always has been and shameful mess. It's either the house or the car and the house always wins. It's weird cuz I like a tidy organized clean home, but my car is an abomination to all that is holy. It's a collection of crap that I took someplace or brought home from another and just never bothered to bring inside. And there might be some water bottles, McD bags and all sorts of change and assorted makeup products. Sorry folks just keepin' it real here.
If I stopped to pick up a hitchhiker and it was Jesus on one of those "will you pick up the homeless stranger guy" tests, he'd take one look, decide that he doesn't have enough holy water on hand and wave me on to take the ride from the serial killer with the clean car.
Anyways I left my car home yesterday and carpooled with a friend.
-sidenote- you ever see like 6 Mexicans going somewhere in one little car together? They are carpooling. Mexicans have this crazy love for carpooling and since I've infiltrated their community I've come privy to this phenomenon. They all have cars but will jam in with each other everyday to go to work. I think it's a mixture of the saved gas money and the fact that they love to socialize and can have a little fiesta together, tubas and accordions bumping all the way to work.
Ok so yesterday when I got dropped off home I noticed something odd about my car. It had a funny look about it.
It was clean. I thought maybe I had been robbed.
But then I opened it up and noticed vacuumed carpets, dust free surfaces and a giant lack of shit.
I didn't even want to touch that mess, I was saving it for my twice annual guilt clean. But he totally went for it and that ladies and gentlemen has to be some love or some crazy. I figured if he wasn't crazy before he surely would be now. But nope, he seemed unfazed and even came up with a new lovey dovey thing for me, he called me "La Luz de mis ojos" which is "The light of my eyes"
So ok maybe he is crazy, but at least it's crazy for me.

Oh. My. God. He must really, really love you alot, because I for one have seen your car(storage facility) and it ain't pretty. I myself suffer from the same syndrome as you and I Wouldn't let Jason see my car "as is" because we both now he is "mr. neat-Freak america". Hold on tight, very, very tight to this guy. He's a keeper and a cleaner!
Love you Jaybird.
I try not to ever clean the inside of my car - because if I do, then all that stuff just ends up in a pile on the kitchen table for a month. And I'd rather look like a good housekeeper than a good car-keeper. But man, that guy is truly a keeper!
yeah, cruiser i totally agree with having a clean house rather than a clean car. when i try to clean my car everything either migrates to the trunk or somewhere in the house in bags, sad but true, plus it gives me a good excuse for not picking up hitchhikers! lol!
Hey!!! Is this a woman thing or what??!! I, too, do the same thing. I spend a whole morning cleaning up the house and its walls (darn kids!!), but barely spend time cleaning the inside of the car (darn kids, again!)..
Lindy, you need to send your guy over to clean up my car..Just tell him you have a car down in the South.. ahhhah!
I, also agree with Cruiser and Jaime.. All my junk goes in a plastic bag and end up inside the garage. Ummmmm!
Lindy, use and abuse that man, he's a keeper!! (i'm so devilous) ahahhaaa!
Le Petit
Oh my gosh oh my gosh, that's just too much. I thought I was the only one that ended up having the stuff out of my car end up in a plastic bag hidden somewhere. Or yes on the kitchen table.
Honest to G-d he actually left one bag of micl. stuff (makeup, pens, change, micl crap) that he didn't know what to do with in the front seat.
I put it in the trunk.
Lindy, Jaime, and LePetite: Confession time now. When I sold my last car, I had to clean out the junk, right? So I did - and put it in a big bag. That bag sat in my garage until I moved from that apartment to my house (4 years ago) and that bag is still sitting in my garage. I have no idea what's in it. For some reason I actually hauled it here. Go figure.
Cruiser you are the coolest EVER and that is it.
AND I am hearby presenting a Certificate Of Recognition
stating so.
Ok so it's a Statement of a Certificate of Recognition.
You get the idea, I think I *heart* you.
