It was ok in the beginning of my blog (I thought) to have my picture up and be fun and free and all that but as the subject matter of my writing as changed over time it's come to my attention that I need to protect not only myself but my family and friends.
My blog pals that come here on a regular basis often refer to me by the first name in my IP address, (a lindy star is actually a simulated gem stone that was very popular in the 80's see to your right(and it's acutally spelled linde star but we all know I great I am with spelling!)) strangers often call me Danielle (Danielle is the screen name of one of the first bloggers that I started reading way back when) and others call me Hor. I'd appreciate it if my super-great-and-wonderful-commenting pals would hence forth just call me Dhor. No, I'm not a hor in real life but for the sake of my identity and the sanity of my family I would appreciate if anyone that KNOWS my real-life name would refrain from using it. As for my IP address name and my blog header name I'd like to for-go the use of those as well for the sake of just plain not confusing new folks that come here.
One more is the nickname and name that I've used for my fiance. It wasn't very bright of me to ever type them here but I did and it's done (and has been edited out the best I can) but from now on I would appreciate if you would all just refer to him as C. (or any of my variations of burrito-boy, mexi-man, whatever ;)

Well, by the name 'lindystar', I would guess your real name is something similar... probably 'Lindsay' or something. I'm fairly sure you live in the southern US at this point, probably Texas or California, and with the landmarks/places you've mentioned it wouldn't be too hard to find out exactly where.
So, you probably won't be found by accident, but if somebody's trying to stalk you...

Oh, I completely understand this, Hor-gal. I can only imagine what you've gone through with being "discovered" like that! That's why I change all names in my blog, and use Blogget. I'd love to be more personal than that, but it's too risky....
Anyone who knew me fairly well and started reading my blog would know *instantly* who wrote it, and I'd be in big trouble.... And I blogged early on about how easy it can be to find someone in cyberspace. More power to ya :o)

Sgt! I'm still not cool! Never been never will be and that's ok by me. :) Hell if I ever GOT cool then what would I do?? I'd come half out of my skin trying to MAINTAIN my cool status. There's a reason why nowhere on te internet do I use my real name. It's always a variation of Bel. I've once thought of using my real name on Myspace, but then changed it back because I realised pupils of mine might track me down.
